Preparing for Entry to UK
To be able to go through the Entry Clearance process successfully, an applicant may be required to produce some, or, depending on an applicant’s individual circumstances, all of the following documentation:
• Relevant diplomas or educational certificates.
• English proficiency test certificate (if required).
• Correct visa application fee.
• Confirmation of acceptance letter issued by a UK Tier 4 approved educational institution that confirms you have been accepted for a course of full-time study in the UK.
• Evidence of your work experience (if appropriate).
• Evidence of government sponsorship (if appropriate).
• Bank statements, payslips or other evidence to show that you are able to pay for your stay and your course whilst in the UK.
• If you are being privately sponsored (for example, by a relative) a letter or affidavit of support and evidence that they can afford your stay in the form of bank statements will be required.
Most new students are met by friends and relatives when they arrive for the first time. If you do not have anyone to meet you, we can arrange a college representative to meet you at the airport to ensure you safely get to your destination.
