Mont Rose College of Management and Sciences offers this course in collaboration with the Confederation of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CTH).The Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality was established in 1982 to provide recognized standards of management training appropriate to the needs of the hotel and travel industries, via its syllabi, examinations and awards. CTH Management Programmes are widely recognised by universities as offering equivalency to degree level study. CTH Diploma and Advanced Diploma graduates may therefore gain direct entry to the second or final year of a variety of hospitality and tourism degree programmes. The graduate of post graduate diploma could transfer the credits towards Masters Degree from the University of Sunderland.

Entry Requirements:

The Mont Rose College recruit students of outstanding achievement and endowment from all educational backgrounds. Proven previous exam results are the main focus towards admission at Mont Rose College. International student also needs to show the English competency in order to secure admissions.

The following criteria must be met in order to secure admission at Mont Rose College.

1.Admission to the programme normally requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent from a recognized university or education institution in hospitality or a related discipline. In exceptional cases, a candidate with no Bachelors degree or equivalent may be considered for admission if s/he has a record of management experience in the hospitality and tourism industry and is able to demonstrate that s/he can benefit from the programme

2. IELTS 5.5 or comparable English competency level certificate
3. A reference from an educational institution or employer last attended by the applicant
4. For non –UK Applicants, appropriate student visa to study in the United Kingdom

Recommended minimum age of enrolment is 22 years.

Exemptions:

Exemptions will not be accepted for modules on this programme.
