Diploma in Administrative Management
Mont Rose College of Management and Sciences offers this course in collaboration with the institute of Administrative Management (IAM).This qualification is designed to help professionals to develop their career in business management.
In this course the candidate will learn how to:
• Use the principles of Human Resource Management
• Apply new management tools and skills
• Use analytical tools to improve management decision making
• Organise and communicate with multiple teams

Course Contents/Description:
The award is made up of 5 units:
Unit 1: People in Organisations
Unit 2: Administrative Systems and Processes
Unit 3: Professional Administration
Unit 4: Information for Decision Making
Unit 5: Case Study or Project Report

Assessment:
The units are assessed by a three hour unseen written paper comprising two sections A and B. Section A has eight compulsory short answer questions designed to test candidates knowledge and understanding of concepts and terminology. Section B has a choice of two questions from four designed to assess the candidates appreciation of the unit. The project report is assessed through a 3,000 - 4,000 word report to a senior manager.
Career Progression:
The Diploma is open to every one who has at least 2 years previous experience or relevant Certificate level qualifications from the IAM or other awarding bodies. The Diploma can normally be completed in 1 to 2 years, depending on the time individuals have.
Entry Requirements:
The Mont Rose College recruit students of outstanding achievement and endowment from all educational backgrounds. Proven previous exam results are the main focus towards admission at Mont Rose College. International student also needs to show the English competency in order to secure admissions.
The following criteria must be met in order to secure admission at Mont Rose College.
1. GCSEs/A Levels, NVQ Level 3, IELTS 5.5 or comparable English competency level certificate
2. A reference from an educational institution or employer last attended by the applicant
3. For non –UK Applicants, appropriate student visa to study in the United Kingdom
Student Membership:
While attending the course student will be able to register themselves with IAM and can use the online resources provided by IAM.
