A student wishing to stay in the UK for more than 6 months must apply for entry clearance before travelling. The above list only contains the most commonly required documents; additional information and/or documents may be required by the visa issuing officers.
The above requirements are now applicable to all overseas students following changes in Immigration Rules. The current rules no longer allow a change of visa status from visitor to student under any circumstances. Students should not purchase travel tickets to the UK until all the required documents are ready.

Documents Required
1. Two passport sized photographs.
2. A copy of your valid passport.
3. Photocopies of your certificates.
4. Two reference letters (one academic) from people who have known you personally for a minimum of two years.
